SKIN rejuvenation

Sun, skin disorders, ageing and even heredity can all contribute to skin irregularities on the face and body. These include wrinkles and acne scars, pigmentation changes like freckles and sun spots. Skin may lose tone, feel less firm and loose the healthy glow that is evident in younger skin. Our skin cells shed every 30 days when we are young but as we age, taking up to 60 days. Resulting in a  build-up of dead skin cells leaving the skins complexion looking dull. There are two main types of skin rejuvenation treatments depending on your concerns; Skin resurfacing and Anti-ageing injectables.

Skin resurfacing

Skin resurfacing involves removing dead and tired skin cells from the superficial layers of the skin to help restore a brighter, more youthful complexion whilst encouraging new healthy skin cell growth.

Skin PeelsAt LVA we offer a variety of skin peels that involve applying high quality acids to resurface the top layers of dead skin cells and encourages new ones to grow, revealing the softer, smoother skin beneath. During your consultation you’ll be advised on the right type of peel for you, and will receive a tailored treatment plan to achieve optimum results.

anti-ageing injections

Anti-ageing injections are minimally invasive treatments. These allow the skin to appear plumper and fuller by reducing the appearance of wrinkles or loss of facial volume.

Dermal Fillers: Lines and wrinkles, facial volume and contours are the three main areas to look at when looking to treat the signs of ageing with Dermal fillers. We lose volume which includes fat tissue and bone mass, creating sagging, jowls and nose to mouth furrows. Dermal fillers contain hyaluronic acid; a naturally occurring substance which retains moisture to help the skin look plumper

Botox:The injection of botox into the muscles results in a  blockage of nerve impulses of those tissues which in turn reduces the muscle activity that causes over frowning. It can also prevent wrinkles from developing or becoming worse, resulting in a smoother more youthful looking skin.
